One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone

I am delighted for you to join a group with us. Together, we bring different life experiences to the process. "Together we are better", not only applies to the group members themselves, but to how we guide you. Groups are a great way to work with others who may be experiencing similar things as us.  It differs from traditional counseling or coaching, because our strength lies within what we bring to the group.

A little about me...

personal:

I am a divorced mom of two kids, one teenager, and one in college . I got married the "first time" at 28  I was in school FOREVER...and didn't have much time for dating, but I thought I had found the "one.".  I am glad I got married, and don't regret that time, but yes divorce is hard! I remarried a fantastic person at age 50, and have learned a lot!

I have worked multiple jobs over my career (and sometimes two jobs at once), had crazy in-laws ( will they see this? hope not), struggled with my career, and who "I wanted to be when I grew up."

I am dyslexic and had an IEP as a kid, but went on to get a degree    (a few actually). As a woman I have felt unsure of myself physically and mentally; i have felt unsure as a mom, co-worker, partner, wife and friend (wait, who has time for friends after 30, and if so where do you find them?!).

professional:

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, and a Registered out of State Telehealth Provider in Florida.  I have been a therapist for over 13 years, and started my private practice, Maryland Virtual Counseling in 2018.  I see clients on a virtual platform to address issues related to phase of life, anxiety, depression and more. My clients appreciate that I can be vulnerable and honest with them as we walk through what is troubling them.
